Note that since the duck eggs are frozen, expansion can and will cause some cracks to form in the shells, this does not affect the quality of the eggs. Keep frozen. Thaw in a bowl as early as 7-10 days before serving. Can be served with (if your dog will eat it) or without the shell.
Duck eggs are very nutrient dense and what is considered a “perfect protein” as eggs contain all the amino acids. They also contain zinc, magnesium, selenium, Vitamin D, Vitamin A, all 8 B Vitamins, as well as antioxidants called carotenoids (carotene, cryptoxanthin, zeaxanthin, and lutein) and omega 3 fatty acids. The yolk is also rich in lecithin and choline. Choline is a vitamin-like nutrient that’s essential for healthy cell membranes, as well as your brain, neurotransmitters, and nervous system. They can support healthy muscle, recovery after exercise or injury, support skin health, eye health, and brain health. Simply add an egg or two into your dog or cat’s meals for some amazing health benefits!
Turkey necks are a great raw meaty bone to feed. It provides both bone and muscle meat content. Turkey necks are healthy and fully digestible. Additionally, turkey necks are rich in glucosamine and chondroitin, which are both known to support the joint health and mobility of dogs. Gnawing on raw meaty bones can help keep your dog’s oral hygiene in check and provide great mental and physical stimulation. Add in about 10% organ content to make it a complete meal. Feed in an area that is easy to sanitize such as a crate or outside (weather permitting).
Always supervise you pet when feeding.
